My name is Shaley Tolbert. I am from Jonesboro, AR and graduated high school at Valley View. I earned my B.S.E at Arkansas State University. I am currently working on my Master's in Curriculum and Educational Leadership. This is my second year at Marked Tree High School. I teach English 9, English 10, and Critical Reading. I have a passion for reading and my goal as a teacher is to find ways to share this and inspire a passion for reading within all of my students. When I'm not in Marked Tree, I'm at home reading and being distracted by my house full of adorable pups!

I'm a two-year old Yorkie! I love to snuggle, steal toys from my brother, and bark even though no one can hear it. I'm the smallest in the house, but I'm totally the boss.
